Lynne Smith Counseling provides person-centered, trauma-informed care to support your growth toward integration, healing, & wholeness.

Healing and growth occur within relationships that feel safe, respectful, compassionate, and connected. I am committed to providing evidence-informed and personalized care to support your therapy goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with diverse professional expertise, educational training, and life experience.
I am uniquely credentialed with a Master of Social Work from The University of Georgia and Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. I am extensively trained and experienced in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), have completed training as a Certified Attachment and Personality Patterns Specialist (CAPPS), completed Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Method Couples therapy, and have over 20 years of training and experience with skills of effective parenting.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, and I prioritize creating an environment where you feel safe and can explore your story with openness and curiosity. Each session is designed to meet your unique needs, whether you are seeking a safe place to explore evidence-based practice through the lens of your faith, striving to be the best parent you can be, building skills as a couple, coping with unexpected stressors, processing church hurt, or looking for a capable guide to support personal growth through life transitions.
My specialties include:
I serve adults and adolescents, and offer individual, couple, and family therapy sessions in Peachtree Corners. After an initial in-person assessment, clients may switch to telehealth sessions if on-line is preferred.
Cost per 55-minute session: $150
Lynne Smith Counseling & Wellbeing is a fee-for-service practice. If you would like to use your insurance benefits, I can provide you with a detailed superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
I believe mental health care should be accessible to all. In alignment with this value, I offer a limited number of reduced-fee counseling spots. Please reach out if cost is a concern to discuss options.
